(She didn’t want to chat with my stupid ass tonight for some reason.) Also some directions on what to do if there is a problem on the PT board. Ladies, if you follow the advice given here you are taking the chance of being banned. I’m just sayin’.

This person has repeatedly written on hate blogs that Tracy should have stayed in the blogging business, only, and not attempt to start a board community. Totally ridiculous, ya think? So what did they do? Shake hands and move on? Agree to co-exist and help each other??? Noooooooooo… these pathetic few took a page from the vigilante kaybots and started multiple various hate blogs, hopping from one site to another as they closed each blog down, until they settled in their new home. Where they are now threatening to torpedo Tracy’s book deal she landed for her other business investigating corporate fraud by harassing her publishers. It is interesting to note that one of the characters in this charade had abandoned her anti-MK blog last July in order to write an expose book on MKC. That Tracy helped get a prominent anti-MLM man to write a foreword for. Only it never materialized. And the forum owner is this week celebrating their one year anniversary as a community, only they have 1,000 fewer members than PT. It is simple, pure, unadulterated envy and attempt at division. Over a year ago these folks were standing shoulder to shoulder — and through tireless hard work Tracy has built something and drawn people to her that the others have failed to do. I have seen Tracy bend over backwards to help these people and pull them along so that we could all be united in a common goal through linking to them and promoting them and such. But these folks chose to bite the hand that feeds them and now these misguided few cannot see beyond their own frustrations that they are doing MKCs dirty work.
And lastly we now have a crude blog started by a troll who was escorted from the Pink Truth community for breaking the community rules and standards of acceptable behavior. She repeatedly tries to log in with numerous screennames and spends her time making fun of the community and its members. One visit and you will see why she was not a good fit for the Pink Truth community. And I guess she now has a new hobby.
In closing, all three groups: the vigilante kaybots, the supporters of the smaller and pinker forum, and the troll have banded together to form an uneasy truce and they each post and link to each other’s sites. They are united by their hatred of all things Pink Truth and Tracy.
Like I said earlier, this is a carefully orchestrated trainwreck. And the common denominator is that each group has a beef with Pink Truth’s existence for one of three different reasons (either because it is making a dent in MK and MLM; or because they are not well known as Pink Truth is and they wanted that glory; or because they were rejected by the community.)
But none of this will change anything. We are still moving forward. We are helping women and their families. The same power of the internet that allows us to reach and help millions also allows a handful to try to stop us. But we shall keep doing what we are doing.

Nicely worded, PUR! It’s too bad those folks don’t just go on and “work their MK business” if that is their thing.
What it boils down to is that Tracy gave those of us who had a terrible experience with MK a place to join together and the kaybots just can’t get it through their heads that these are OUR experiences – they happened – and we are entitled to them. If they don’t like it they can stay away. Geez, what a bunch of bitter, bitter, UN-go-give women there are out there “defending” MK.

Berry Dawn…”PS” was before both of PUR and my days here on MkSucks (now PT). We’ll have to defer to Tracy on that one.
I think the support here is phenominal. As many of you know, the trashers have lumped me in as one they feels deserves to be trashed. And while I choose NOT to participate on those blogs does in no way, shape or form mean that I agree with ONE WORD that they say. I’m not going to taken my eyes off the mission of our PT community.

The PS never really got off the ground and its site owner seems to have all but abandoned that effort entirely.
We have grown a community that is bigger and more important than any glory for one of us, and is as strong as all of us together. Tracy does not do it all alone, and never has. We have dynamic authors, contributors, and smart and savvy members. The level of humor and heartfelt caring and wit has me coming back for more. And the mission of helping women to make informed decisions regarding MLM is pure and good. All of us together is what makes Pink Truth.

Thanks PUR and Happy. It’s funny where google lands you. I never came across MKSucks. I googled Mary Kay around Feb ’06 and wound up on the PS blog. I googled MK buying club March ’07 and wound up here.

What is the point of the haters trying to make this so personal? Why (on other blogs) do they single out posters here and bash them if they don’t even know who they are talking about? That makes me sick. But also I wish the jokes on this board weren’t so harsh on women with the “caption that photo” and other funny business. I mean it is funny but it would be awful to be the one in the photo or the one who got quoted if you were a lurker here, wouldn’t it? They are women too, and are capable of coming out of the fog. Are you a kaybot until you agree with pinktruth? It seems to me like that could be seen as bullying and insulting.

After reading PUR’s explanation, my guess is that the anti-PT/Tracy groups are actually acknowledging the worth and power of this site. Don’t the weak and whiney seem to have the need to try to drag the upright and worthy down, down to their level? Tracy, you are showing how upright you are by refusing to let them drag you down even one notch. Those who are not on top or in the spot light want it so badly they lash out at any and everything like a rabid cat. Ripping and tear at any and everything. The scene becomes very ugly and violent.

Agreed. I recommend you hit the “report to administrator” button if you see a post that should not be here. I have done that several times to request that phone numbers, full names, or contact info of SDs be removed from posts. If you think that there is something inappropriate or have questions you should definitely contact Tracy directly — she really is very approachable.

I say, if you have questions with someone then ask them….perhaps do it not in a “public” forum…be as direct with someone as you can and get your information as close to the source as possible. I have told many, including several key people in this blogging world, that my only goal was a random thought, “Wonder how Tracy would feel to see a website with her name and “sucks” after it.” I have also said I would never try to take away someone’s livelihood, unlike Tracy who is out to destroy consultants’ and directors’ livelihoods. Only a few people know the ‘truth’ about Tracy’s not-so-gracious exit from PLH.
I am hoping that the important details of this are eventually revealed to all so that everyone can see Tracy’s true colors -in her own words.-
Her comments about ‘rivalry’ and so forth are ridiculous. Tracy is all about competition… look at PT – it is a very aggressive place. Then go look at PLH – not as aggressive. Yet Tracy would have you believe that PLH is the aggressor here. Does that seem reasonable to you?
PLH doesn’t claim to have as many members, is that what’s important? Membership count? As far as being ‘pinker’… if that means not instantly banning active consultants simply for being consultants, then so be it.
I think what is important is providing a place for people to get answers and help to their individual MK situations. Do people get that at PT? Not really. What they get is some initial answers, and then they get swept into propaganda, paranoia, and the same rah-rah mentality they were trying to escape when they left MK.

And that is just how it is with Tracy around. EVERY group that she is or has been a part of experiences turmoil. She is the common thread between them all with the shit hits the fan and it’s been that way for a couple of years now. And you know what, I think that’s great – I think it shows that there are some classy ladies on PLH who prefer to keep their drama private and between the parties involved. A few things:
1. They suddenly know why MKers start blogs? I started it to have a positive place for consultants instead of their only being one side of the story available to the masses.
2. I do not think PT is affecting my business. AT ALL. Enough said about that.
3. I miss MKV. They had a great nuetral place for all of us. I learned a lot about what not to do in my business and met some nice peeps. Yeah, there were the occaisional spats or people that stirred things up, but nothing like on PT. It was not “Kaybot” attack.
4. I think Becca from Fuschia Blog has the most inside info on Blog Drama.
5. So the PT site’s mission is still to have people quit MK? So when a MKer comes in there and sees how things are, they will want to bond there? Ok, maybe it happens, but I believe PT, from what is said here and other places is becoming more and more catty. Not a great first impression.
6. I STILL can’t believe all this crap started because some one bought too much freakin inventory or MK wasn’t for them and blamed their director/MKC and needed to “heal”. Come on, healing is for victims of accidents. MK was a choice, time to face that fact. Perhaps some regret the choices in MK or even starting up, but hey, regrets are part of life. ALL THIS DRAMA FROM SOMEONE REGRETTING A DECISION THEY MADE. RIDICULOUS!

wow. That’s just fucked up. I think the concept they are really missing is…SOME people like to express their actual opinions, as opposed to having to carefully cover up everything they say under a million disclaimers just so it can be posted and they wont’ get banned.
Most people don’t like to be viewed as hostile entities simply for not being rabidly against everything to the same degree as the site owner. Seriously. SOME people want to discuss things and not be shut down. Since Tracy isn’t the only person on the internet allowed to start a blog and form her own group, other people who feel that the speech over on PT isn’t free, form their own places where they CAN speak their mind.

We all know you -heart- MK and everything, but really, if you want to have a battle about whether or not it was wrong for directors to push inventory on people/for consultants to have regret after ordering too much inventory, then you need to take that to a forum where that is the topic.
The topic here is Tracy… please, let’s not get everyone all wound up on an anti-mk / pro-mk tangent because

Another really good “beat the hangover before it comes” trick: Take 2 or 3 Tylenol Extra Strength with a huge glass of water *before* passing out. It may not cure the nausea, but that headache will be goners.
Another one that works well is to eat a very carb rich dinner before mass consumption of alcohol. Works like a charm every friggin’ time. Saved my ass on more than one occasion, especially when I had a date with a very expensive bottle of tequila. Thank God. All I gotta say.
