PC’s story

  

Okay. Back in 2005 I started my blog about MK (“Exposing Mary Kay, Dishing the Dirt on Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Other Crappy Scams”– some of my archives are here: http://www.pinklighthouse.com/pinkcadillac.typepad.com.htm).

 

I only kept this blog going for about 7 months. I got tired of the constant harassment, drama, and stupid people on the internet. Ha ha (wonder why I’m still here!) Anyway, when I quit I probably had a couple of hundred regular readers. Not a huge blog, by any means, but nothing to sneeze at, I thought.

 

Tracy snatched up my blog by starting hers, posting the address on my site, and rerouting all the traffic to her. I gave her my blessing for that and I even let her have my password, so she could go into my blog and move ALL of my archives onto her site!

 

At the same time, LJ started her own forum (PinkLighthouse). Tracy, LJ, myself and about 16 other women were on a Brainstorming private discussion board on PLH.

 

I won’t go into the details here, since a lot of it has already been exposed on http://www.PTLies.com . Basically I thought all of us were working together. There was no reason for anyone to compete!

 

But Tracy began ripping off aspects of LJ’s forum, and adding them to her blog. First it was the inventory trading board. Ok – no big whoop. Except that LJ already had a very busy one going, and it would have made more sense if Tracy just linked to it. But no no no.

 

Then, Tracy put up a chat room. Again – no biggie. A lot of us enjoyed it at first. Everyone on PLH supported Tracy 100%.

 

Then, Tracy gets a FORUM. But not just any forum – she basically ripped off LJ’s forum, down the last detail, including a “private” board for brainstorming – but it was actually just a place for her to pump up her ego and brag about herself.

 

She also rips off my old blog, where she started using the royalty rankings: countess, baroness, etc. The difference was that I never called myself the queen, and the titles were meant purely for fun (waving to Baroness von SugarScrub, Contessa de Tooti Fruiti, Duchess of MintBlisse, Lady Market, from Saturation Point, Princessa de Satin-Lippes, and everyone else!!) LOL

 

In the meantime, as she is ripping off everyone else online, she’s also treating everyone on PinkLighthouse like dirt – constantly browbeating us, screaming at us over every minor infraction of her Code of Loyalty, telling us where we can and cannot post, and the like.

 

LJ finally sees the handwriting on the wall, realizes what is going on, and kicks Tracy out.

 

Tracy put me on her own private board on PT, with Mrs Metaphor, PRdiva, SuzyQ, MKV, and a couple of others.

 

I felt like Tracy was going off the deep end. I was sure that she was trying to compete with LJ, but I couldn’t understand why. All she talked about was how famous she was going to be, bragging about Barry Minkow calling her whatever.

 

I felt sick. I decided to attempt to get her to be nice. (HA)

 

I posted in the private board “Please please, I beg you, don’t sideline and compete with LJ. She hasn’t done anything to you. Why are you doing this? I’m just asking you, please, can you be NICE?” I actually got on my virtual knees and begged her to be nice, just for the sake of decency.

 

To which her response was always (and still is): “Being nice just means that I share my traffic with her. It’s every woman for herself.”

 

I finally got angry enough about this to leave. Tracy did me a favor by banning me almost immediately afterwards anyway. Then she took down all the links to the other blogs/sites about Mary Kay.

 

Tracy has never done anything original. She ripped off PinkLighthouse & my blog, and just about everyone else who comes up with an idea. She stole the MK dictionary from LJ (just read about that on PTLies)

 

What an evil evil person!!! And that’s all I can conclude!
